Apple's next-generation display plans (MicroOLED, MicroLED, MiniLED, OLED, LCD)

※Apple's next-generation display installation plan

Except for what is known so far, these are my guesses.

-LCD: Most of the current iPad, Macbook. [LGD, BOE, Sharp]

-OLED: All current iPhone[SDC, LGD, BOE], Watch[LGD, JDI].

Starting in 2024, OLED mounting on two iPads and Macbooks [LGD, SDC]: Better cost-effective than MiniLED.

-MiniLED (with BLU): 2021 iPad, Macbook, etc. 4 types. [LED: epistar (patent: toyoda gosei), Panel: LGD]

-Micro OLED: VR Headset, AR Glass in 2023

[1st Model: Micro OLED Deposition and Back Plane Design, Driver Circuit Unit: SONY, Back Plane Manufacturing: TSMC]

[Secondary Model: Micro OLED Deposition and Back Plane Design: eMagin, Driver Circuit Unit: SONY, Back Plane Manufacturing: TSMC]

B/P is being developed in Silicon Wafer method for low power and miniaturized (1" inch) chip design.

Target model: VR Head Mount Type (early 23 years), AR Glass Type (23-24 years)

-MicroLED: 2023 Watch [LED chip: Episatr&Nichia, LED Transfer: LuxVue (Apple subsidiary), Back Plane Manufacture: TSMC (Silicon) or LGD (Glass))

※Korean supply chain expected to be installed in Apple AR/VR

LG Innotek: ToF sensor $17, 3D sensor $14.

Hanmi Semiconductor: Inspection Equipment

UJU Electro: Connector

UTI: UTG

※VR/AR device expected specifications

-VR Head Mount: Release in 2023. Initial 1.5 million units, price: $2,000-$2,500. M2 processor, two 3P pancake lens modules

-VR Head Mount 2: Released in 25 years, 10 million units.

-AR Glass: Released 23-24 years.
